Living in Harmony (LIH) —The Center for Emotional
Health is a unique, new therapeutic center designed to help
individuals and families draw upon their own strengths and skills to
resolve current problems and find new solutions.
The doors officially open at Living in Harmony, LLC on
November 4th, 2004, marked by the grand opening to be held at
their offices at 164 Kings Highway North, Westport.
The new Fairfield County
center provides an array of highly effective services from the
fields of counseling, psychotherapy, psychiatry, and coaching, that set the center apart from other area providers. At
LIH, a tailored program to best address the clients’ specific needs can
be created from the variety of approaches offered by these diverse fields.
LIH
specializes in:
Marriage
and Family Therapy
Divorce Mediation
Personal and Professional Coaching
Spiritual Growth & Development
Domestic Violence Prevention
Anger Management
Parenting Skills Programs
for Women in Transition
Troubled
Teens
“This center offers a
unique client-centered approach to dealing with today’s emotional,
behavioral, and spiritual challenges, by bringing together highly
qualified practitioners from a wide range of disciplines, “ says Kathy
Caprino, Personal/Professional Coach and one of three founding members of Living
in Harmony, LLC.
“The three LIH founders—myself, Trip Hartigan, and Kathy
Caprino-- bring expertise from very different backgrounds compared with
those in a typical center,” says Gary Pearson, founding member of LIH
“As former executives, we are able to draw from our previous
experience in law, business, marketing, and the performing arts.
As parents, we each understand the pressures of family life today.
As therapists, we share a belief in the human spirit to overcome
obstacles. All these
qualities are beneficial in helping individuals and families cope and
resolve their most pressing challenges.”
The
official opening of Living in Harmony, LLC marks the start of a
series of 10-week programs offered there, including workshops for Women in
Transition, Prevention of Domestic Violence, and Anger Management for Men.
