Upcoming CAMFT Election:
CAMFT Elections Committee asks that all CAMFT members GET INVOLVED!!
A call for nominations for Student Representative to the Board went out in
the mail today--2/15/2005. It should be returned by February 28th. The
CAMFT BOARD had previously stated that there was no election for students this
year but that was in error.
You may nominate yourself or one of your fellow students. This is a great
opportunity to get involved with the association and to network with Board
Members.
The call for nominations for the other
positions has already gone out in the mail for Clinical and Associate
members of CAMFT.
Please be sure to nominate a colleague or yourself.
Nominations must be returned by February 28, 2005.

Elections Committee: Constructs
the slate of persons who will run for CAMFT office. This committee consists of
the Past President, in an advisory capacity, and three elected members.
Committee Meetings: once briefly (30 min.) in May or June and once in
November (2 hrs.) to count ballots. In between, solicits nominations for office
from members.
Meeting place: Traditionally, the ballot counting takes place at Holiday Inn in
North Haven on a Friday. Other meetings are scheduled as needed. |
